RTI in Malaysia: A research on Member of Parliament (MP) funding allocation

ABOUT THE PROJECT

A research project conducted by a team of ‘5veracious’ youths aimed to promote freedom to access public information from the legislators. The research will also emphasise the principle of transparency especially in distributing and managing public funds.

This is a youth-led research project, a follow-up activity from the RTI Virtual Camp held in April 2021.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Standing true to its name, ‘5veracious’ aims to provide the public with a report representing only the truth. ‘5veracious’ comprises five (5) youths from different backgrounds armed with the same mindset to uphold transparent and accountable practices in accessing government-held information.
